The only way we run it, and the right one: the Cigenter river by canoe, two nights in the park lodge on Peucang island, the forest crossing to Karang Copong at dawn, and the reefs on the way back. Deer and long-tailed macaques wander freely around the lodge. No phone signal for three days, and that is the best part.

Why this price is a range
This trip goes by boat, and the boat costs the same whether one person goes or eight. So the price per person depends on how many people travel that day — other guests in the house, and often people from elsewhere in the village. On a full boat it comes to around IDR 3,500,000 each. Going alone means covering the whole boat, up to IDR 18,000,000.

Weather and volcano
This trip depends on the sea and, for Krakatoa, on the volcano's alert level set by the Indonesian authorities. If it cannot run safely, we move it to another day of your stay or refund it in full. No argument, no fee.
